OpinionPanel.AI is a product of Adama Platform Engineering, LLC, a Kansas limited liability company ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the OpinionPanel.AI website and services (collectively, the "Service").

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored in hashed form). We may also collect your name if you choose to provide it.

2.2 Health Information You Provide

To generate your research report, you voluntarily provide health-related information, which may include:

  • Symptoms you are experiencing
  • Medical history and test results
  • Questions you want researched

You choose what to share. We only collect the health information you voluntarily enter into the Service. We do not access your medical records, insurance information, or any external health data systems.

Payment processing is handled by third-party payment processors. We do not store your credit card number, bank account details, or other payment instrument information on our servers.

2.4 Usage Information

We automatically collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and timestamps. This information is used for security, analytics, and improving the Service.

  • To provide the Service: generating your AI-powered health research reports

4. How We Share Your Information

4.1 AI Providers

To generate your research reports, we share the health information you provide with third-party AI providers. These providers currently include:

  • Anthropic (Claude)
  • xAI (Grok)
  • OpenAI

This information is shared solely for the purpose of generating your research report. We send only the health information necessary to produce your report. We do not share your account information (email, name) with AI providers. Each AI provider has its own data handling policies; however, we use API-level access where provider policies state that input data is not used to train their models.

4.2 We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or health information to any third party for marketing, advertising, or any other purpose.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

4.4 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control.

5. Data Storage and Security

5.1 Where Your Data Is Stored

All user data is stored on infrastructure owned and operated by Adama Platform Engineering, LLC via the Adama Platform. Your data is stored on our machines and is not hosted by third-party cloud providers for primary data storage.

5.2 Security Measures

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information. These include encryption of data in transit, hashed password storage, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights and Choices

  • Access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: You may update or correct your account information at any time.
  • Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data. Upon request, we will delete your personal information and health data from our systems, except where retention is required by law.

7. HIPAA Disclaimer

OpinionPanel.AI is a health research and information tool. We are not a covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). We are not a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse. The health information you provide is submitted voluntarily for the purpose of generating educational health research summaries. While we take the security of your information seriously and implement strong data protections, the specific requirements of HIPAA do not apply to our Service.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will delete that information promptly.
